An experienced Sales Development Manager to develop and lead our fantastic SDR team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering the best experience to our customers while developing the team and accelerating sales. The right candidate will be driven to succeed, and possess a clear vision for building a high-performing SDR team within a growth company. The SDR role at When I Work is a quota carrying sales role with prospecting, qualifying, and closing responsibilities for our small business customers.
What you'll be doing:
Provide leadership, development, and training to our Sales Development team. Currently eight SDRs and growing
Hire, onboard, and promote amazing talent
Meet and exceed team sales targets
Keep track of weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales per SDR
Work with marketing team to optimize inbound lead flow and develop demand generation campaigns
Continuously improve the SDR playbook, calling scripts, and training processes to increase the productivity & efficiency of our Sales Development team
Operate with a sense of urgency and drive a daily cadence to exceed goals
Experience and Skills Needed
3+ years of sales leadership experience
Proven track record of exceeding goals in a sales development environment
Strong customer orientation, dedication, and passion for delivering a great customer experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Collaborative and team oriented
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Successful experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic (read: sometimes chaotic) environment.
Software sales management experience is a plus
